First-graders will be taught how to create robots and computer games, they will conduct simple chemical experiments and get acquainted with the elements of urban architecture.

In September, Moscow first-graders will be able to visit 17 additional education sites, including children’s technology parks, free of charge. For them, in the first month of autumn, the action “First-class September” will be held. Its participants will learn about the professions in demand, learn programming, robotics and design.

“At the sites of early career guidance for schoolchildren, free master classes will be held in the most popular areas – robotics, augmented and virtual reality technologies, additive technologies and creative industries. Last year, 15 sites took part in the action, including 10 children’s technology parks. They were visited by about two thousand people. Now the list of partners has expanded – young Muscovites are expected in 17 organizations “, – said

Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

To participate in the action, you must select a site and date of visit, as well as register on a single aggregator site children’s technoparks in Moscow. After that, a confirmation will be sent to your e-mail indicating the place and time of the lesson.

Playgrounds of the children’s technopark “Engineeringium of the Moscow State Technical University named after N.E. Bauman ”will hold classes for first-graders from the course of a young engineer, master classes in scratch programming, robotics and biotechnology. The master classes of the children’s technopark “Na Zorge” were united under the name “My Urban Design”. Each of them will be dedicated to the elements that create the urban look, architecture and design. In the classroom at the RGSU children’s technology park, you can assemble your own robot and bring it to life thanks to the self-written program code, create your first computer game, draw in space using a 3D pen and build a realistic three-dimensional house.

At the Mendeleev Center, first-graders will learn what paints and plasticine are made of, see the world around them with a microscope, and also conduct experiments with chemical reactions. A mini-quest awaits the guests of the Science City MFYUA, the participants of which will need to reach the lighthouse and light up the lamp, while mastering programming, studying the algorithms for the movement of the robot and the principles of operation of LEDs and resistors. Several master classes will be held here for the children. In an aviation lesson, for example, they will see the cockpit of a Yak-40 aircraft in a special flight simulator and make a model of the flying vehicle.

The children’s technopark “Vertical take-off” has prepared a chemical show for September. In addition, here you can learn what bulk prototyping is and get acquainted with scratch programming. Technopark has prepared a program for parents: at the Confident Schoolchild master class, a teacher-specialist in speech therapy, child psychology and integrated thinking development will tell you how to overcome the difficulties associated with learning in primary school and socialization in a children’s team.

In addition, first-graders will be able to visit the city of professions “KidBurg”, the park of professions “Kidzania”, the museum of entertaining sciences “Experimentanium”, the children’s center of scientific discoveries “InnoPark”, family amusement parks “Zamania”, the sports and entertainment center “Sky”, the largest the robotics school in Moscow RoboUniver and the Skazka amusement park.

For example, RoboUniver will offer guests two-hour robotics and engineering workshops as part of First Class September. Schoolchildren will walk with giant dinosaurs in the Fairy Tale Park. And “InnoPark” will show guests the world of science.
