This year, 12 people were released from the colony, belonging to the category of orphans and children left without parental care, whom the social security team helped to restore the rights to the living space provided by law.

Not so long ago, convict L. left the walls of IK-5. After the orphanage, he entered one of the vocational schools in the city of Barnaul. When the young man graduated from the educational institution, the social educator had to submit documents to the housing department to be included in the list for receiving social housing.

However, as specialists in the social work of IK-5 found out, for some reason this was not done. The social workers of the correctional institution requested from the guardianship authorities the necessary copies of documents from his personal file. As a result of several court hearings, he was put on a waiting list for specialized housing.

Advisory assistance with the aim of realizing the right to receive municipal housing was provided to 13 convicts from among orphans. For six more convicts, the social workers of the colony draw up packages of documents confirming their right to living space.
