In the Republic of Armenia, within the framework of the Warrior of Peace competition of the International Army Games 2021, the participants passed the Military Medical Complex “Individual Skill” of the “Professional” stage.
During the second test of the “Professional” stage, which took place on the territory of the military unit of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia in the city of Ijevan, the contestants, according to the lot, one by one in outfit with weapons, competed in the evacuation of a conditionally wounded soldier from the battlefield and in providing him with first aid.
The participants of the competition performed a temporary stop of external bleeding of the victim’s hand using a hemostatic rubber tourniquet, indicating the date and time of the tourniquet application.
Then, in compliance with the rules of camouflage, the wounded man was dragged away on his back or on his side until the bandage was applied using an individual dressing package. After that, the contestant evacuated the wounded with the help of a raincoat-tent. The correct application of the tourniquet and bandage was checked at the finish line by the field referee.
According to the competition program, the total length of the competition distance was 60 meters for men and 30 meters for women.
At the end of the three-day stage “Professional”, the program of which includes 3 tests: a set of combat training exercises, a military medical complex “Individual skill” and orienteering, the judging committee of the competition will determine the best in the team and individual competition. At the end of each trial, the judges fix the time shown by the participant, taking into account the penalty seconds.
The program of the “Warrior of the World” competition is designed for 14 days and includes a military-sports competition “Athlete”, competitions in the subjects of combat training “Professional” and “Sniper”, the intellectual tour “Erudite” and already passed literary-artistic and dance-creative stage “Cavalier” (“Madam”).
