Within the framework of the meeting of the Government Commission for Regional Development under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, applications from two regions were considered.

The first to be considered was the Moscow Region’s application.

“The Moscow Region submitted 6 applications at once, 4 of them involve the construction of 28 infrastructure facilities within the established limit in the amount of 23.7 billion rubles, and two more – for the provision of an infrastructure budget loan for 5 facilities in the amount of 3.9 billion rubles on a competitive basis … Today we approved the main application, but we will consider the competitive application after October 1, when we will have unallocated limits. Thanks to this, about 3 million square meters will be built in the Moscow region. m of housing and created about 47 thousand jobs, “- said Marat Khusnullin.

“At the expense of infrastructure budget loans, objects of social, engineering and transport infrastructure will be created. These are 16 kindergartens, which are in great demand, and 5 schools and outbuildings – in total, almost 9.2 thousand places. We will also be able to renovate 3 hospitals and reconstruct 6 highways, ”said the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov.

Also during the meeting, the application of the Murmansk region was approved.

“Thanks to a loan in the amount of 3.4 billion rubles, a cultural and business center” New Murmansk “will be created in Murmansk, which will include a congress hall, a hotel, an indoor theme park, an Arctic museum, food courts and a number of other facilities,” – said Marat Khusnullin.

“Obtaining an infrastructural budget loan for the CDC“ Novy Murmansk ”is not only a tool for us to create a unique urban space, which will become a point of attraction for residents and guests of our region. The main thing is that more than 2 thousand new jobs will be created for residents. And these are fundamentally new opportunities for Murmansk as the capital of the Arctic, ”said Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrei Chibis.

The Deputy Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Finance to promptly conclude agreements with the regions and begin work on raising funds.

“We are ready to promptly consider all applications. I ask the regions to become more active and remind that the deadline for applications is October 1 of this year. After that, all unselected limits will be distributed on a competitive basis. Today, in addition to the applications that we have already approved, 7 more regions – Kostroma, Magadan, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen regions, Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrugs and the Republic of Tatarstan – have submitted applications to the Ministry of Construction, and they will be considered in the near future ”, – Marat Khusnullin commented on the results of the meeting.
