“Active Citizen” became the first partner of the social aggregator of online stores of non-profit organizations.

In the shop of incentives of the “Active Citizen” project, goods have become available that are provided by socially oriented non-profit organizations (NPO), partners of the capital Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

Thus, the project participants can already exchange points awarded for active actions for goods made by the wards of the center for adaptation and development “Emerald City”. Teens and adults with mental disabilities and mental disorders make their own notepads, sketchbooks, sketchbooks, candles, scented herbal sachets, Florentine sachets, hand-molded paper and envelopes from it. Working in workshops and creating such goods helps the wards of the center to socialize and improve their labor skills.

“This year, the Moscow Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has launched a new project – an aggregator of online stores for non-profit organizations

“Moscow is a kind city”, On the website of which you can buy wonderful things made by the hands of the wards of socially oriented non-profit organizations, – said Natalya Tsymbalenko, head of the Information Policy and Communications Department of the Moscow City Department of Labor and Social Protection. “And we are very glad that this initiative received the support of the“ Active Citizen ”project, whose participants will now be able to get pleasant, sincere, warm things and do a good deed, supporting social NGOs and their wards.”

According to her, the city actively supports social non-profit organizations, for example, within the framework of annual grant competition… NPOs also receive new platforms for selling their products, which will allow them to develop, expand their activities, create more jobs, give their wards the opportunity to feel needed and in demand and find strength and opportunities for new projects.

Soon, the incentive store will have products created by the wards of the Unity Foundation for helping mental disabilities, Equal Opportunities non-governmental organization in support of people with mental disabilities and psychophysical disabilities, the Creative Association Krug Foundation, the Life way ”, public organization“ Community of families of deafblind ”, fund for helping people with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and other neuromuscular diseases“ Live now ”and others.

Active Citizen is one of the first major partners of the social aggregator of online stores for NGOs. With the help of the aggregator, socially oriented non-profit organizations can post their goods, and their customers are both individuals and various city or federal institutions, as well as private companies.

Active Citizens have helped charities before. So, in December last year in the incentive store there was an opportunity to transfer earned points to charity. Now they can be transferred to 14 charitable organizations. Among them are “Fair Help of Dr. Lisa”, “Give Sunshine”, “Hurry to Do Good!”

“Already 11.5 thousand participants have donated almost 16 million rubles to charitable foundations. We continue to develop this section, the list of charitable organizations will be replenished, ”said Alexander Pischelko, head of the New Management Technologies State Institution.

Also, points in the reward store can be exchanged for branded souvenirs, excursions, going to the cinema, replenishment of the Troika card and certificates to partner stores.

The Active Citizen project for online voting appeared in 2014. In seven years, more than five million people have joined it, of which almost two million will be in 2020. Participants decide which streets, courtyards and parks need to be improved, how city clinics, libraries, multifunctional centers should work, and also choose events for festivals and celebrations. Since the start of the project, Muscovites have taken part in more than five thousand votes. Decisions supported by a majority vote are implemented in the city.

You can find out what has appeared or changed in Moscow thanks to the voting on online map… More than 1.6 thousand objects are applied to it. And in the heading “Pulse of the Capital”you can assess the changes that have taken place in Moscow.

The “Active Citizen” project is being developed by the Moscow Department of Information Technologies and the state government agency “New Management Technologies”.
