During the Army-2021 forum, representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and interacting organizations discussed the creation of a model for interaction in joint research work on the basis of the ERA Military Innovative Technopolis.

The round table was held at the Discussion Club site as part of the scientific and business program. Its participants discussed the proposed model of cooperation in the interests of developing the technopolis as an integrated platform for creating a scientific and technological reserve. They considered a list of the necessary areas of interaction in joint scientific and applied research on the creation of weapons for military and special equipment, dual-use products.

The discussion was chaired by Mikhail Osyko, a member of the board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation. Major General Dmitry Gorbatenko, Acting Head of the Main Directorate of Research Activities of the Russian Defense Ministry, made a presentation.

“To date, more than 50 projects have been completed by employees of testing laboratories, research departments and operators of scientific companies of Technopolis“ ERA ”. The results obtained demonstrate a high scientific and technical level of development, ”noted Dmitry Gorbatenko.

“At the“ ERA ”site, interaction with industrial enterprises and scientific organizations that have become participants in the technopolis takes place, and more than 200 cooperation agreements have been concluded,” he stressed.

“I hope that today, during the discussion of the draft of the proposed model, we will develop a common understanding of joint scientific and applied research,” the Major General summed up.

In addition, the event considered the issue of mechanisms and approaches to quoting funds for research on the site of VIT “ERA”. The implementation of the considered model will allow organizations participating in joint activities to get the opportunity to solve personnel issues through the selection and employment of serving operators of scientific companies.

The round table was attended by members of the board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation, specialists from the Federal Assembly, the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, state corporations, enterprises of the military-industrial complex, the banking sector, research organizations, design, technological, design and survey organizations and universities.
