Resolution of 23 August 2021 No. 1402
Over 8.7 billion rubles will be additionally allocated for the development of transport infrastructure in Russian regions. This order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The money will go to finance significant projects in 23 regions of the country. So, in the Trans-Baikal Territory they will be sent to reconstruct a bridge across the Ingoda River, in Udmurtia – to overhaul the bridge along the Siva River, in the Sakhalin Region – to reconstruct the road leading to the Shakhtersk airport.
In the Ivanovo region, with the help of federal support, more than 30 km of the road will be repaired, which connects the Rodnikovsky, Lukhsky and Puchezhsky districts. In the Vladimir region, the reconstruction of the Vladimir – Ivanovo road will be completed, and in the settlements of the Amur region, a total of 38 km of the road will be repaired.
Mikhail Mishustin also signed a decree on the allocation of 8 billion rubles for the overhaul of roads in Crimea. This will make it possible to repair at least 254 km of highways, which in turn will improve the quality of the region’s transport infrastructure and make it more attractive for investors and tourists.
Both issues were considered and approved at a meeting of the Government on 17 August.
In addition, the Government approved amendments to the rules for granting subsidies to regions for the implementation of activities of the “Road Facilities” subprogram, which is included in the state program “Development of the Transport System”. Now the territories will be able to receive financing not only directly for the construction and repair of roads, but also for the development of design estimates. The new rule will apply to projects worth more than 1.5 billion rubles.
Maintaining road infrastructure and expanding it is one of the priorities of the Government. This year, over 130 billion rubles have already been allocated for advanced road construction and reconstruction of infrastructure facilities.
The signed document changes the Government Decree of December 20, 2017 No. 1596.
