According to the results of the first stage of the All-Army Competition “Excellence in Military Intelligence-2021”, which takes place in the Novosibirsk Region, the team of the Russian Federation is in the lead.

During the first stage of the competition “Withdrawing a reconnaissance group to the rear of the enemy”, the reconnaissance units in full force and combat equipment landed from an Mi-8 helicopter and entered the designated assembly point located 500 meters from the landing site, observing the order of battle, camouflage and security in the conditions of a possible meeting with a “conditional adversary”.

From the assembly point, Russian and foreign intelligence officers made a 15 km march, movement in azimuth was carried out only with the use of a magnetic compass, the use of other electronic navigation and positioning aids is strictly prohibited.

At the end of the first stage of the competition, the scouts carried out an ambush with the seizure of secret documents of the conditional enemy and the destruction of vehicles.

Prior to the competition stage, a draw took place, during which the sequence of passing the stage was determined: the team from the Republic of Uzbekistan was the first to start passing obstacles, followed by a team from the Republic of India, then the scouts of the Republic of South Ossetia. The team of the Russian Federation went to the start in the throw-march on difficult terrain fourth, however, during the course of the route, it was able to bypass its colleagues and come to the finish line first.

The scouts from China took the second place according to the results of the 1st stage of the competition, the third place was shared by the scout teams from Belarus and Uzbekistan.

The International Army Games-2021 will be held from August 22 to September 4, 2021 on the territory of 11 states (Russia, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan).

In total, more than 5 thousand servicemen, consisting of 277 teams from 42 countries, take part in 34 competitions of ARMI-2021.
