By the decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, for a great personal contribution to the development of the coal industry of Kuzbass and Russia, high production indicators, unlimited loyalty to the courageous mining business, active mentoring and in connection with the celebration of Miner’s Day, nine Kuzbass coal miners – tunnellers, electrical fitters, operators of mining mining machines – were awarded the title “Honored Miner of the Russian Federation”. The work of four workers in the coal industry in the region was awarded a medal of the Order of Merit to the Fatherland, II degree. Another 11 people were awarded regional jubilee medals “300th anniversary of the formation of Kuzbass”.

During his visit to the coal mine, Andrei Belousov got acquainted with the equipment of the control room of the coal mining enterprise, where the operation of all machines, excavators and drilling rigs is monitored. He also visited the first-aid post, where every day all employees of the enterprise undergo mandatory health checks before leaving for a shift.

“The world is very dependent on coal. For example, in India, 70% of thermal energy is solid fuel. In China – 60%. And these are the countries with the highest economic growth now and in the foreseeable future. We’ll have to compete with Australian coals, and more. The regional administration understands this. Kuzbass has very good starting positions, and Kuzbass will cope with this challenge, ”stressed Andrey Belousov.
