Specialists of the housing and communal services (HSS) No. 10 (Buinaksk) of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution (FGBU) “Central Housing and Utilities Administration” (“TsZhKU”) of the Russian Ministry of Defense for the Southern Military District (YuVO) are completing preparations for the autumn-winter the season to ensure a stable heating period 2021-2022.

Preparation of military social infrastructure facilities for the autumn-winter period is carried out to reduce the impact of temperature and other atmospheric factors on the structural stability of utility facilities, prevent emergency wear and tear and prevent equipment malfunctions in life support systems.

Particular attention is paid to the organization and maintenance of the established thermal regime of social facilities (barracks, medical centers, canteens, baths, clubs), including places of residence of military personnel and their families.

By the efforts of specialists of ZhKS No. 10 (Buinaksk) 392 objects will have to be prepared for the heating season: 11 heat facilities, today the readiness is more than 82%, work has been completed at 18 water and sewage facilities (67% readiness), work is underway on the preparation of 363 objects of the barracks and housing stock, (readiness 93%).

At 9 heating facilities, equipment was repaired (replaced) at seven boiler houses and at two heating points, pipeline sections were replaced and thermal insulation over 25 m of heating networks was restored, 25 different pumping units, 2 heat exchangers, 3 smoke exhausters, 2 blowing fans were revised, an audit was carried out shut-off and control valves.

In accordance with the schedule, the standard stock of liquid boiler fuel is formed, which will allow in the upcoming heating season to continuously provide all the necessary facilities with thermal energy.

In addition, in ZhKS No. 10 (Buinaksk), a set of measures is being implemented to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population, service employees are actively involved in vaccination against the new coronavirus infection.

In total, the specialists of the branch will prepare 762 military camps on the territory of the district, at present the overall readiness of the facilities is more than 80%.

The fulfillment of the planned tasks on time and the professional work of the specialists of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “TsZhKU” of the Ministry of Defense of Russia in the Southern Military District will make it possible to successfully complete preparations for the heating period of 2021-2022.
