At the Korla military training ground of the PLA Ground Forces training center at the international competition “Safe Environment”, 10 RCB reconnaissance crews from 5 countries (Belarus, Vietnam, Russia, Uzbekistan and China) took part in the “individual test”.
According to the results of the stage, the leaders are the crews of the PLA host team, which demonstrated a unique and synchronized result. Both crews, performing in different races, finished with a record time of 9 minutes. 12 sec. The 1st crew of military chemists from Uzbekistan was able to get as close as possible to this result with a time of 12 minutes. 8 sec. The Russian crews showed the 4th (13 min. 1 sec.) And 7th results (13 min. 49 sec.) In the individual race.
In the team event, according to the results of the total of the points scored, the national team of Russia and Belarus are still sharing the second place, letting the home team from China go ahead. In third place is the team from Uzbekistan.
In the course of the individual race, each of the 10 crews completed temporarily the tasks of searching for radioactive sources on equipment, identifying toxic substances, tasks of sampling, special processing and overcoming a special fire-assault strip.
To determine the winner, the teams will have to go through two more stages: “Fire training” and “Relay”.
During the competition, all teams use Chinese-made equipment and devices.
As part of the Russian team, the best specialists – winners of the All-Army Competitions – cadets of the Military Academy of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense named after Marshal of the Soviet Union S.K. Tymoshenko.
This year, in the People’s Republic of China, at the Korla Land Forces training ground, three competitions of the International Army Games will be held: “Clear Sky”, in which military personnel of air defense units will compete, “Suvorov Onslaught” – a competition for the crews of infantry fighting vehicles and “Safe Environment “- competition between radiation, chemical and biological reconnaissance units.
