On the territory of the Seltsy training center of the Ryazan Guards Higher Airborne Command School (RGVVDKU) named after General of the Army V.F. Margelova, the second stage of the “Tactical Shooter” competition ARMI-2021 has ended.

The “Single Shooter” stage involved the performance of various individual exercises by all team members, starting with a battle in a building, where it was necessary to hit various targets set behind obstacles, and ending with a battle in a forest.

At the command “Attention to battle!” the shooter representing the national team took a position and fired from a machine gun hit suddenly appearing targets, moving from cover to cover, overcoming imitation of fallen trees and obstacles. During the exercise, the shooter additionally had to inspect all the wooden boxes on his route in order to seize the documents hidden in them.

A feature of this exercise was the defeat of suddenly appearing swaying targets, as well as targets from behind trees, which become visible as the shooter moves along the route. Participants were assessed on the basis of timing, shooting accuracy and compliance with safety requirements.

More than 130 military personnel in 17 teams representing the national teams of their states take part in the competition.

The 2021 International Army Games will be held from August 22 to September 4 on the territory of 11 states (Russia, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan). In total, more than 5 thousand military personnel, consisting of 277 teams from 42 countries, take part in 34 competitions of ARMI-2021.
