Penza artillerymen participating in the competition of the VII International Army Games – 2021 “Master gunsmith” in the province of Isfahan, Islamic Republic of Iran, were shown the sights of the capital of the region – the city of Isfahan.

Our team visited the central Na? Ksh-e Jaha? N square, or Imam square, and took a memorable photo. The area is a quadrangle of 500 by 150 meters and is the second largest in the world.
The architectural ensemble of the square includes: Imam Mosque, Lotfolla Mosque, Ali Kapu and Qaysariye Palace and other cultural and historical sites. Imam Square has been included in UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Next, the participants in the Grand Bazaar bed where they learned about the culture and traditions of the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran. At the end of the excursion, the servicemen visited the famous Si-o-Se Pol or “Bridge of 33 spans”.

The International Competition “Master Gunsmith” is held at the training ground of the Air Defense and Artillery Military School located in the city of Shahinshehr, Islamic Republic of Iran from 23 August to

September 4 as part of the International Army Games 2021.

The International Army Games 2021 will be held from August 22 to September 4, 2021 on the territory of 11 states (Russia, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan).

In total, more than 5 thousand servicemen, consisting of 277 teams from 42 countries, take part in 34 competitions of ARMI-2021.
