In Kaspiysk, on the territory of the 71st military town, the military-technical forum of the Southern Military District (YuVO) “Army-2021” is being held for the second day. Events will run until August 29.

The forum is open for mass visits by spectators from 10:00 to 17:00. Dozens of pieces of modern weapons and equipment are displayed in static display areas. Visitors to the Army-2021 forum have the opportunity to see T-72B3M tanks, Tiger armored vehicles, BTR-82 armored personnel carriers, multiple launch rocket systems, the BAL coastal missile system, as well as many other types of weapons and military equipment.

In addition, today the guests of the forum were shown a dynamic demonstration of the combat capabilities of the forces (troops) of the flotilla in the water area of ​​Kaspiysk and on the coast of the training complex “Scorpion”.

The servicemen of the Caspian Flotilla demonstrated the combat capabilities of the BTR-82A and BTR-70M. The crews fired with blank ammunition from a 30-mm 2A72 cannon.

Artillery calculations of the D-30 howitzers showed that the standards for occupying an unprepared firing position and for firing at the observed unplanned target were met.

Particularly spectacular was the episode of the landing of assault groups of the amphibious assault, operating with the support of the 4th Army of the Air Force and Air Defense on high-speed boats BL-680.

Also present at the forum, spectators could see demonstration performances of marines in army hand-to-hand combat, throwing edged weapons, elements of kettlebell lifting and overcoming obstacles by military personnel.

A concert program of creative groups of the Republic of Dagestan “Vivat Russia!” Was prepared for the guests of the forum. The work of field kitchens and a selection point for military service under a contract was organized.
