In the Tverskoy District, not far from the Dostoevskaya metro station, a modern art space called The Quarter of Poets will be created – a new place that will attract art lovers.

At the intersection of Chernyshevsky and Dostoevsky lanes, Seleznevskaya and Novosuschevskaya streets, a park will be smashed. It will house an art installation “To the Unknown Poet” and a wall made of Corten steel (with a rust effect) with quotes from writers, musicians and directors. In total, nine compositions and eight silhouette figures will be made of this steel.

They will also equip walking areas and recreation areas, as well as install a transforming stage in the courtyard of the Yesenin Center for performances, lectures and master classes.

Specialists will cover the sidewalks and roads in adjacent driveways with new asphalt, tidy up the lawns, lay out flower beds, plant trees and bushes, and install lighting poles.

The work on the creation of the “Quarter of Poets” has already been completed by 90 percent.
