In China, at the Korla military training ground of the training center of the Land Forces of the People’s Liberation Army of China (PLA), during the “Clear Sky” competition of ARMI-2021, the panel of judges summed up the results of the “Mastery” stage.

In the first place is the team from China, which spent 20 minutes on completing the tasks of the stage. 20 seconds, in second place are anti-aircraft gunners from Russia with a time of 31 minutes. 48 sec. Next in the standings are a team from Egypt (36 minutes 15 seconds), a team from Belarus (41 minutes 51 seconds), anti-aircraft gunners from Uzbekistan (52 minutes 44 seconds), and servicemen from Venezuela (59 minutes. 28 sec.).

The stage of the competition included driving a combat vehicle along a special track with obstacles and performing at 6 shooting areas.

In the first section, the crews of the combat vehicle performed firing from automatic weapons with changing firing positions at the targets that appeared. On the second – at an air target from MANPADS on a collision course, and on the third – from an anti-aircraft machine gun at a “helicopter” target. In the fourth sector, moving in a combat vehicle, anti-aircraft gunners hit “helicopter” targets from MANPADS. On the fifth, they fired from an anti-aircraft gun (machine gun) at a moving armored target. At the final point, the contestants fired from MANPADS at an aerial target on a catch-up course.

The Russian team competes in domestic Typhoon-Air Defense vehicles and with domestic weapons (Igla-S portable anti-aircraft missile systems, Kord 12.7-mm machine guns and AK-12 assault rifles).
