The banners of the renowned regiments and divisions, whose personnel fought heroically during the years of the Great Patriotic War, will be displayed as official symbols and relics, embodying the honor, valor, glory and military traditions of the Armed Forces, as part of museum expositions.

The specialists of the department of funds of the Astrakhan United Museum of Local Lore carried out restoration work on the panels.

During the Military-Technical Forum of the Southern Military District “Army-2021”, the ceremony of transferring 49 battle flags to museums of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation will be held in the regions of the South of Russia: Rostov, Volgograd and Astrakhan regions, in the Kuban and Stavropol regions, in Dagestan, the Chechen Republic, Adygea, in the Crimea and Sevastopol.

The events of the Army-2021 Military-Technical Forum on the territory of the Southern Military District and foreign military bases will be held from August 27 to 29 at 24 sites in 14 constituent entities of the Russian Federation and at military bases in Abkhazia, Armenia and South Ossetia. About 800 units of modern military and special equipment, more than 70 ships and vessels, over 100 aircraft and helicopters of the Air Force and Air Defense Association of the Southern Military District, as well as the naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet are involved.

In order to comply with sanitary safety requirements, all visitors are advised to wear medical protective masks, and to observe social distance in catering and forum events.
