During the events of the International Military-Technical Forum (IMTF) “Army-2021” at the sites of the Southern Military District (YuVO), a special-purpose detachment of the Novorossiysk Naval Base (NVMB) of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) detained a vessel violating territorial waters as part of a dynamic display Forum.
In addition, during the 3 days of the work of the Army-2021 International Labor Force, residents and guests of the hero-city of Novorossiysk were able to see draws of tactical episodes in assisting the ship’s crew, landing troops and a counter battle with the seizure of a bridgehead, as well as the performance of raid tugs from the Black Sea Fleet NVMB with the composition “Fountains on the Water”.
The daily static display featured combat and special equipment of the Black Sea Fleet and Airborne Forces formations and units, including the Strela-10M anti-aircraft missile system, the Lynx armored vehicle, the BTR-82A armored personnel carrier, the Nona self-propelled artillery mount, BMD-2 landing vehicle and AM-1 army ATVs
Also, during the work of the Forum site, military-sports clusters were organized, where visitors were able to check their physical fitness, exhibitions of modern small arms and special diving equipment of the NVMB, demonstration performances of servicemen of the special-purpose detachment.
Specialists of the mobile selection point of the Southern Military District explained to everyone the procedure for entering military service under a contract in the Armed Forces of Russia. Each candidate was able to pass professional and psychological testing to determine compliance with the established requirements, get acquainted with the features and advantages of contract military service, social benefits and guarantees provided to servicemen in the formations and military units of the Southern Military District and the Black Sea Fleet.
The International Military-Technical Forum “Army-2021” at the sites of the Southern Military District was held from 27 to 29 August 2021.
