For project participants “Moscow longevity” an online lecture on finance took place. It was read by representatives of the Moscow Financial Agency Department of FinanceNatalia Pivkina and Julia Krapivina. The broadcast, which was watched by 1,500 people, was connected individually and in groups.

Natalia Pivkina discussed with the project participants the principles of sound financial behavior and the reasons for unplanned purchases. According to the speaker, spontaneous emotional purchases often become one of the causes of financial problems. She advised the audience to control their expenses, draw up shopping lists, study price tags and receipts in detail, track expenses through mobile applications that clearly show unnecessary purchases. Natalia Pivkina recommended turning additional income into savings.

Yulia Krapivina spoke in detail about the main types of financial fraud and how cybercriminals steal confidential information to gain access to money. Fraudsters constantly come up with new schemes for obtaining personal data. It is important not to lose vigilance, double-check and constantly study information about new ways of financial fraud. If a person has already become a victim of intruders, he must immediately call the bank, report fraudulent activities and block the card, and then apply in writing to the nearest police station.

At the end of the online lecture, the speakers answered exciting questions and invited viewers to take part in urban social and educational projects aimed at increasing financial and budget literacy. At the end of September, it is planned to hold a city-wide Festival of Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurial Culture.
