Today, on August 29, at the Alabino training ground in the Moscow region, within the framework of one of the most spectacular contests ARMi-2021 – “Tank Biathlon”, three races of tank crews took place: two in the first and one in the second divisions.
Tankers of the first division from Serbia, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan were the first to go to the start.
Belarusian tankers conquered the Tank Biathlon track in 19 minutes. 52 sec. and finished first, the second result (21 min. 25 sec.) for the crew of Kazakhstan, and the third (23 min. 22 sec.) for the tankers of Azerbaijan.
Crews of the first division from Venezuela, Syria, Vietnam and Mongolia competed in the second heat of the day.
The Syrian tank crews were the most successful in this race. Their result was 23 minutes. 54 seconds, the Venezuelans finished second (24 minutes 21 seconds), and the third result (24 minutes 45 seconds) was demonstrated by the tankers of Vietnam.
For the teams of the second division, the individual race of the Tank Biathlon 2021 ended today with the arrival of crews from Tajikistan, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Qatar.
In the course of a bitter struggle, the best time in the race is 26 minutes. 57 sec. – showed the crew of the national team of Tajikistan. Tankers from South Ossetia came second to the finish line with a result of 30 minutes. 15 sec. The third were servicemen from Abkhazia – their result was 41 minutes. 53 sec.
Based on the results of individual races, a rating of the best crews will be compiled. The first three will become winners and prize-winners of the “Individual race” stage.
The panel of judges will summarize and determine the total crew time of 8 teams of the first and 5 teams of the second divisions, which are expected to race in the semifinal relay, scheduled for August 31 and September 1 of this year.
At the draw, which will take place tomorrow, Monday, each team will find out the new color of their tank and the number of the starting lane.
