Today, in Vladivostok, at berth 33 of the Primorskaya Flotilla of Diverse Forces of the Pacific Fleet (PF), the closing ceremony of two international competitions “Sea Cup” and “Marine Troopers” of the International Army Games “ARMY-2021”, held in the area of ​​responsibility of the Pacific Fleet, took place.

The closing ceremony of the ARMI-2021 contests was attended by Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Lieutenant General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, Commander of the Pacific Fleet Admiral Sergei Avakyants, Head of the Naval Combat Training Department Rear Admiral Oleg Korolev, representatives of foreign delegations and the participating team.

In the international competition for maritime training “Sea Cup”, the Russian Navy was represented by the crew of the corvette “Perfect” of the Pacific Fleet, the missile frigate “Kuang Chung” from the Navy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the ship “Guanyuan” from the Navy of the People’s Republic of China. The victory in these competitions was won by Russian sailors, in the second position by military personnel from Vietnam. Chinese sailors came in third.

According to the results of the Marine Assault competition, the first place was won by the Russian marines. The People’s Republic of China team came in second. The marines of the Islamic Republic of Iran closed the top three.

The winners and prize-winners of the contests were presented with cups, medals, commemorative diplomas and valuable gifts in a solemn atmosphere.

After the launch of the flags of the international competitions “Sea Cup” and “Marine Assault”, as well as the flag of the Army International Games “ARMY-2021”, the solemn ceremony was declared closed.

The international competition in maritime training “Sea Cup” consisted of three stages: the first – the use of the ship’s weapons as intended, the second – the competition in maritime training and the third – the competition for survivability and the use of life-saving equipment.

The Marines-2021 competition was held at two training grounds for the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) marines. The competition started on August 22. In total, within the framework of the competition, the participants went through three stages: “Relay”, “Obstacle course” and “Survival trail”. The competition was attended by teams from the People’s Republic of China, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. In addition to the teams that regularly participate in the Marine Landing Competition, teams from the Republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia participated for the first time.
