At the Ashuluk training ground (Astrakhan region), during a tactical exercise with live firing conducted with an anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Leningrad Air Force and Air Defense Association of the Western Military District, a test was passed in driving combat vehicles.

Drivers of launchers, charging machines and automobile base chassis KamAZ, Ural-4320 anti-aircraft missile system of the S-400 Triumph system have fulfilled a number of driving standards at the autodrome, including “Snake”, “Dimensional corridor”, “Dimensional courtyard”, “Overpass dead-end”, as well as “Eight overall”. The actions of the military personnel on the route were assessed by instructors and technical leaders of the training ground.

Before the practical passing of the standards, the participants passed theoretical tests on the knowledge of safety requirements when driving large vehicles.

The delivery by the regiment’s driver of the standards for driving combat vehicles in the framework of tactical exercises with live fire affects the overall grade for the exercise.

More than 300 servicemen are involved in live firing, over 100 units of anti-aircraft missile technology are involved.
