By decree of the head of state, in September all Russian pensioners will automatically receive a lump sum payment of 10 thousand rubles. The order on the allocation of more than 433.3 billion rubles for this purpose was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The money will come from the Government’s reserve fund. Mikhail Mishustin announced this decision during meetings with deputy prime ministers on 30 August.
A comment
“It is important that people receive this money as quickly as possible. Without unnecessary bureaucratic formalities, ”said the Prime Minister.
An order is also being prepared for signing on the allocation of more than 21.1 billion rubles for payments to military pensioners. Mikhail Mishustin also mentioned them in his speech.
The total amount of funds for one-time payments to pensioners will amount to 454.4 billion rubles.
To receive 10 thousand rubles, citizens do not need to submit any applications and documents. Benefits will not be considered when assessing eligibility for other social support measures.
Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to pay all pensioners 10 thousand rubles one-time at a meeting with representatives of the United Russia party, which took place on 22 August.
