With the help of a mobile application, Muscovites can not only quickly choose a convenient time to visit a doctor, but also gain access to an electronic medical record.

The most popular way to make an appointment with a doctor is the EMIAS.INFO mobile application – it accounts for more than 30 percent of the total number of appointments. At the same time, in general, more and more Muscovites use online services to choose the day and time of a visit to a doctor – today the share of online appointments is already more than 75 percent.

“The popularity of making appointments to a doctor via the Internet is growing every year. If in 2013 the share of online recording was only seven percent, now it is already more than 75 percent. The growing popularity of mobile applications can be separately noted. Today the application “EMIAS.INFO” has become the most popular way of recording – more than 30 percent of the total number of records. Most often, townspeople use it to choose the day and time of a visit to the doctor. At the same time, over 3.7 million people have used this application on their phones, and it is really very convenient – it has all the same functions for making an appointment available on mos.ru and emias.info. In addition, with the help of a mobile application, patients can not only quickly choose a convenient time to visit a doctor, but also get expanded opportunities for taking care of their own health, ”said the press service of the capital’s social development complex.

In July 2020, the townspeople had the opportunity to access their electronic medical records in the UMIAS.INFO mobile application, and to date they have accessed their medical records through the mobile application more than 20 million times.

After gaining access to the electronic medical record, Muscovites can familiarize themselves with the protocols of medical examinations, the results of tests for COVID-19, the results of laboratory and instrumental studies (CT, MRI, fluorography and others – including access to images), with hospital discharges and vaccination histories of adults and children. You can also enter information about your personal and family history.

In addition, information is available on the current prescribed prescriptions, data on ambulance calls and the results of medical examination in the Healthy Moscow pavilions. At the same time, users have the opportunity to unload documents from the medical record and send them by e-mail or via messengers, as well as add other medical documents to the medical record on their own.

Appointment to a doctor in a polyclinic is the very first, basic service of UMIAS, which was introduced in 2012. Initially, Muscovites could make an appointment with a doctor through the registration desk, infomats and a single call center. Then an online appointment appeared through the mos.ru portal.

The city’s Department of Information Technology noted that Muscovites have already signed up for doctors online more than 325 million times. Most often, they use the mobile applications EMIAS.INFO, Moscow State Services, My Moscow, as well as the mos.ru and emias.info portals.

For those patients who do not yet use online services, it is still possible to make an appointment by phone, as well as during a personal visit to the clinic using an infomat. To do this, you need a compulsory health insurance policy number.

Mobile applications “EMIAS.INFO” and “My Moscow” can be downloaded in App Store, Google playand App Gallery. For their correct operation, you need to monitor their timely updates.

The implementation of such solutions became possible thanks to a single digital healthcare platform. It was developed by the metropolitan complex of social development and Department of Information Technology… The platform provides various services for doctors and patients, simplifying their interaction and improving the quality of research and treatment.
