Under the leadership of the Chief Judge of the International Army Games (ARMI-2021), Major General Alexander Peryazev, a working meeting was held on the holding of the International Army Games in 2022.

The event was attended by 45 delegations of defense departments, representing, among others, the co-organizing states: Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Kazakhstan, Qatar, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, India and Mongolia. The meeting was also attended by military attachés at the embassies of Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

The representatives of the states-co-organizers of the competitions and the military attachés of foreign countries were informed of the list of organizational measures for planning the Army-2022, proposals for determining the venues of the competitions for the upcoming Games next year, taking into account the expansion of their geography.

As Major General Alexander Peryazev noted, the organizing committee of the Army expects that teams from 45 countries will take part in the competition in 2022. Another 20 states have expressed interest in holding competitions on their territory.

The meeting participants praised the organization of the International Army Games in 2021 and noted that the Army-2022 will become a practical continuation of the further development of international military cooperation between the defense departments of the participating countries.

According to the results of 30 completed competitions in the overall standings, the team of the Russian Federation is in the lead, the military personnel from Uzbekistan are in second place, and the military men from China are in the top three.
