More than 1,700 families in the Northern Administrative District have benefited from the relocation assistance under the renovation program. This was announced by the head of the Department of urban planning policy of the city of Moscow Sergey Levkin.
“All participants of the renovation program are provided with free assistance when moving. At resettlement information centers and through
super service residents can order the services of movers and transport for the move. So, in the Northern Administrative District of Moscow, out of 1,969 families who received new apartments, 1,756 new settlers used this option, ”he noted.
Renovation program participants can receive notifications, read personalized memos and instructions, order services and use services using the resource “Assistance when moving in the framework of the renovation program”.
The renovation program in the north of the capital includes 514 houses with a total area of over 1.7 million square meters of apartments. They are home to 109 thousand people. To organize the wave resettlement of Muscovites in the Northern Administrative District, 65 launch sites were selected.
In addition, within the framework of the approved territorial planning projects, about 50 social facilities are going to be built in the CAO. These are schools, kindergartens, clinics and health and fitness centers.
The renovation program was approved in August 2017. About a million Muscovites will receive apartments with improved finishes. A total of 5175 houses will be resettled.
