At the Baranovsky training ground in the Primorsky Territory, as part of the planned training of units, the officers of the Ussuriysk Separate Guards Airborne Assault Formation performed control firing exercises from the weapons of BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles, as well as from standard small arms, Kalashnikov AK-12 assault rifles and AK-74M.

“The purpose of the lesson was to improve and test fire skills, as well as the skills of using regular weapons by officers of the command of the formation,” said the head of the occupation of the guard, Lieutenant Colonel Roman Ivanov.

Before completing the practical part of the lesson, the servicemen gradually worked out each element of action when performing control firing, where they worked out preparation for battle, changing the firing position, studied the basics and rules of firing from standard weapons, and complied with the standards for disassembling and assembling weapons and equipping the store.

During the practical part of the lesson, exercises of control firing from standard small arms and weapons of BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles were performed.

Summing up the results, the head of the lesson, Guard Lieutenant Colonel Roman Ivanov, noted the high level of training of command officers and expressed confidence that the results shown are a good basis for demonstrating even higher achievements at the upcoming final audit at the end of 2021.
