According to the results of 25 (out of 34) completed competitions of the International Army Games-2021, the national team of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is in the lead in the overall standings (15 first, 8 second and 2 third places). This was announced today at a traditional press briefing for journalists at the joint press center of ARMI-2021 by the chief referee of the games, Major General Alexander Peryazev.

According to the chief referee, the second place is taken by the national team of Uzbekistan (4, 5, 3), the third place is taken by the national team of China (3, 8, 3). This is followed by Kazakhstan, Belarus, Iran, Armenia, Vietnam, Mongolia.

“Yesterday ended the competition in three contests: Sea Cup (Iran), Masters of Artillery Fire (Kazakhstan) and Clear Sky (China). The colorful closing ceremony of the Army of Culture competition took place. I would like to remind you that this competition is being held for the first time this year and is the most numerous. It was attended by representatives of 20 states from almost all continents, ”said Major General Alexander Peryazev.

Also, on September 1, the second stages of the “Emergency Area” and “Sniper Frontier” competitions in Vietnam ended. According to preliminary data, in the competition of emergency rescue teams, Vietnam is in first place, Russia is second, and Belarus is third. In the “Sniper Frontier” competition, according to the results of two stages, Vietnam is in the lead, Uzbekistan is the second, and Russia is the third.

In addition, the third stages of the “Guardian of Order” competition in Serbia and the “Sniper Frontier” competition in Belarus are coming to an end.

The International Army Games this year are held from August 22 to September 4 simultaneously at 23 training grounds and in the waters of three seas – the Caspian, Arabian and Japanese. The competitions are accepted by 11 states: Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan and Russia.

In total, more than 5 thousand servicemen, consisting of 277 teams from 42 countries, are participating in ARMI-2021.
