In honor of the day dedicated to the statehood of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), an online kettlebell lifting tournament was organized for the first time at the initiative of the regional branch of the Yunarmiya of the Republic.

The tournament was attended by 67 youth soldiers from 14 educational organizations of 7 municipal districts of the capital, aged up to 18 years. The guys had to publish their video with the exercise “weight snatch” on the Internet. It was possible to “juggle” with pound weights wherever conditions allowed – at home, in the country, in gyms, and in classrooms.

The panel of judges was headed by Konstantin Abramov, a responsible specialist in youth competitions of the Kettlebell Lifting Federation of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

Thus, the winner of the tournament was a 10th grade student from the Khatylyn school of the Churapchinsky ulus, Maxim Kozlov. The teenager scored a record 184 points. The second result – 153 points – belongs to his classmate Maxim Borisov.

The little youth soldiers were also tested for strength. The winner was a 7th grade student Vasily Ignatiev. He lifted the 8 kg kettlebell 162 times. Silver was won by Artem Noev with a score of 60 points.

As a result of the competition, the winners were awarded with certificates and valuable prizes from the organizers of the competition.
