At the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School (DVOKU), a solemn ceremony of taking the Military Oath by first-year cadets took place. About 200 cadets took the oath of allegiance to the Motherland.

Within a month after the entrance tests, they mastered the basics of military service at the training ground of a military educational institution. Combined arms training included engineering training, RChBZ, medical, tactical and other areas of military affairs, including live firing from a machine gun. The important milestones of the cadets’ testing were the “tank run-in” classes and the many-kilometer marching march as part of the subunits.

The participants in the ceremony were congratulated by the head of the school, Major General Alexander Ignatenko, representatives of the regional administration, as well as parents and guests of honor. All of them wished the children in the future to maintain the level of military skill of the pupils of the DVOKU, which the cadets regularly show at the International Army Games and various kinds of competitions. In total, this year, cadets were recruited for the specialty of commanders of the marine corps, motorized rifle, mountain and Arctic units. In addition, the technical secondary vocational education program continues.
