The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation – First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Hero of Russia General of the Army Valery Gerasimov, together with the Deputy Ministers of Defense of the Russian Federation and representatives of foreign delegations, visited the headquarters of the International Army Games on the final day of ARMI-2021.

The headquarters is located on the territory of the Patriot Military-Patriotic Park of Culture and Leisure of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. It is a pavilion with expositions dedicated to all 34 ARMI competitions. Each exposition includes exhibits reflecting the specifics of the competition, photographs, trophies and the names of the winners.

The museum also displays the state flags of all countries that took part in the Army Games. In addition, showcases with expositions of the co-organizing countries of the Army have been deployed at the headquarters.

A special place in the museum is occupied by the trophy awarded to the first winners of the Tank Biathlon competition.

The newly created headquarters allows on its base to conduct briefings, seminars, as well as instructor-methodological classes with judges of the Army. In addition, draws were held for the teams participating in the International Army Games competitions.

Colonel-General Ivan Buvaltsev, Chief of the Main Directorate of Combat Training of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, introduced the exposition of the headquarters to the Chief of the General Staff.

“We can say that this headquarters is actually a museum,” said the head of the GUBP.

The Chief of the General Staff highly appreciated the established headquarters.
