In the Nizhny Novgorod region, at the Mulino training ground, flamethrower units of the Western Military District (ZVO), using Bumblebee jet flamethrowers with volumetric explosion ammunition, fought a simulated enemy in a dense urban environment.

According to the concept of one of the episodes of practical actions, the military personnel, with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles, discovered the reserves of the imaginary enemy, moving forward on lightly armored vehicles, as well as his command posts.

Flamethrower units with the help of RPO-A “Bumblebee” jet infantry flamethrowers and RPO-PDM extended-range flamethrowers hit about 50 lightly armored targets. They also destroyed the manpower of the conditional enemy in long-term firing points.

Previously, military personnel underwent long-term training on simulators. The servicemen were allowed to engage in live firing only after completing an exercise using training flamethrowers.
