The Russian participants of the “Guardian of Order” competition ARMI-2021, held in Serbia, won silver medals of the competition in a bitter struggle. The ceremony of awarding the winners and prize-winners of the competition took place today at the Beranovac training ground.

The first place, gold medals and the championship cup of the competition of professional skills of military policemen went to the Serbian team. At the end of the four stages, they scored the highest number of points, despite the fourth place in the final military-police throw. Bronze awards were given to participants from Kazakhstan, whose disqualification at the “Race of Heroes” stage was canceled and the result was taken into account when calculating the total score.

In addition, the referees awarded separate awards to the participants for individual achievements at different stages of the competition. All five members of the Russian team – Senior Warrant Officer Alexei Sinitsyn, Warrant Officers Denis Mishin, Alexey Gladkov, Vladimir Chernik and Corporal Vyacheslav Norbu – were awarded special prizes for outstanding results in the final race on the Race of Heroes track and the will to win.

The awards were presented to the participants by representatives of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Serbia and personally by the Deputy Chief of the Serbian General Staff, Lieutenant Colonel General Petar Cvetkovic. After the ceremony, a Serbian military orchestra from the city of Niš and a song and dance ensemble of the Strategic Missile Forces “Krasnaya Zvezda” performed songs in Russian and Serbian for all those present.

This year the competition “Guardian of Order” was held for the first time in the Serbian city of Kraljevo and consisted of four stages. During them, the participants demonstrated their shooting skills, practiced the actions of a patrol squad in an impromptu village, took part in a patrol squad race in cars with special tasks, and also made a military-police throw for 12 kilometers along the Race of Heroes track.
