The program aroused great interest among visitors to the park, who, despite the cloudy weather, came to listen to music performed by the participants of the Festival. Military conductors were the first to perform. They played a medley on the themes of songs about Moscow (“Festive Overture” by D. Shostakovich, “Old March” by L. Lyadova, “And I Walk, I Walk Through Moscow” by A. Petrov, “Moscow Nights” by V. Solovyov-Sedoy, “Favorite city ”N. Bogoslovsky and others). This is the program they perform in the main performance of the Festival. Plus, military marches were added (“Serve Russia” by E. Khanka, “Victory” by A. Arutyunov, “Guarding the World” by B. Diev and others), which introduced new rhythms to the performance.
The exemplary orchestra of the Armed Forces of Belarus partially repeated its festival program in terms of performing a medley on the themes of famous Belarusian songs. And he enriched it with the performance of fantasy on themes of songs by Soviet composers and paraphrases on themes of music to Gaidai’s films and other compositions. The vocalists of the orchestra sang the songs “Music, don’t leave me” and “Take me with you”.
The Mexican Orchestra’s program consisted of new compositions (with the exception of Huapango), which they did not perform in the main show of the Spasskaya Tower on Red Square. The musicians played “Fantasy Velacruz”, “Fiesta Mexicana”, waltz “God Never Dies” and other melodies. The vocalist sang the famous song “Besame mucho” (composer K. Velazquez) to the accompaniment of the orchestra.
