Since September 1, passengers have made more than 162 thousand trips with free transfers.
Muscovites are actively using the new opportunity to make a free transfer by land transport. Sergei Sobyanin told about this in his blog.
“On September 1, we introduced free transfers between different routes on all ground transport in Moscow. Thanks to this, a one-time trip by land transport has become 1.5 times cheaper. And for those who travel regularly with transfers, the savings will be up to 11 thousand rubles a year, ”the Moscow Mayor wrote.
The new option can be used by 600 thousand passengers who have linked their Troika card to their personal account on the site Moscow Metro. And their number continues to grow: in the last three days alone, 100 thousand people have registered cards.
“Since September 1, passengers have made more than 162 thousand trips with free transfers. This is important and necessary for people. Therefore, the number of such trips will continue to grow, ”said Sergei Sobyanin.
The transfer will be free within 90 minutes from the start of the trip.
The Mayor of Moscow also stressed that in terms of fare, Moscow transport today is one of the most affordable in the world. Improvement of the ticketing system will continue to make travel more convenient and profitable for residents and guests of the city.
