The winners and prize-winners of the international stage of the “Confident Reception” competition were awarded medals, certificates and valuable gifts during the closing ceremony of three contests ARMI-2021, held in the Republic of Belarus.
The awarding ceremony was conducted by the representative of the Main Directorate of Communications of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Major General Valery Tishkov and the head of the competition – the Chief of Communications of the Armed Forces – Head of the Communications Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, Major General Oleg Mishchenko.
The “gold” of the competition was won by the servicemen of the Republic of Belarus. Russia and China won silver medals, and the third place was taken by the teams of Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
Among the women’s teams, Chinese women have become leaders. The second place was taken by the team of Belarus, the third were Russian military signalmen.
In addition to military signalmen, the winners and prize-winners of the Polar Star and Sniper Frontier contests were honored at the Brestsky training ground.
The main events of the competition were held from August 23 to September 3 in Minsk, as well as on the basis of the Uruchye training ground of the 120th Guards Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.
The competition was attended by representatives of 9 countries: Russia, Belarus, Vietnam, China, Laos, Mali, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were represented by a combined team consisting of cadets of the Military Academy of Communications named after Marshal of the Soviet Union S.M. Budyonny, communications specialists of the Aerospace Forces, the Western Military District, the 12th Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense, which was formed as a result of the all-army stage of the “Confident Reception” competition.
