In a circle around the tower, an information stand was placed about the parachute training of the First Cosmonaut Corps and 10 portraits of space heroes: Yuri Gagarin, German Titov, Andriyan Nikolaev, Pavel Popovich, Valery Bykovsky, Alexei Leonov, Evgeny Khrunov, Boris Volynov, Georgy Shonin, Viktor Gorbatko. Each portrait is accompanied by information about the life of the astronaut.

One of the first to see the renovated historical tower was the Yunarmeytsy from the educational center. Raskova and schoolchildren of grades 7-9 of the city of Engels.

On one of the first days of the new academic year, they went on an excursion to the Museum of Long-Range Aviation. The guide Sergey Voronov told the children about the First Cosmonaut Corps and their training in Engels, which they passed from April 13 to May 20, 1960.
