In the virtual laboratory cabinet, you can find specialized instruments, devices and accessories for conducting experiments.
It is now possible to design and conduct experiments on electrostatics, magnetostatics and electromagnetism in the library of the Moscow Electronic School (“MESH”) thanks to the virtual laboratory “Electromagnetic field. Faraday “. She became the fifth in a line of physics laboratories.
This name was not chosen by chance. The discoveries of the English experimental physicist Michael Faraday underlie the modern industrial method of obtaining and using electrical energy. The study of this section of physics has a great practical orientation.
The laboratory presents a set of equipment for conducting experiments on the study of electric and magnetic fields, as well as electromagnetic phenomena. The virtual laboratory cabinet contains specialized instruments, stands, devices and accessories with the possibility for the experimenter to select the parameters and properties of objects. Users can make temporary saves during experiments, which allows you to fix the work in whole or at any stage. In the future, you can continue the experiment from a certain point.
The virtual laboratory also has a hint system. Above each object there is a point, by clicking on which the user will see information help on how to interact with a specific device. Young experimenters need to handle the devices correctly, otherwise they can break, just like in real life.
To gain access to virtual laboratories, you need to go to the MES library under your account, on the start screen go to the “Catalog” section and select “Laboratories” in the proposed types of materials, then click on the laboratory of interest and start the program. If you have any questions about working with the laboratory, you can press the “i” button and watch the video instructions. Information about the virtual laboratory “Electromagnetic field. Faraday “posted here…
Virtual laboratories “MES” are a modern tool for cognitive experiments that help schoolchildren improve their knowledge and skills, study the properties of familiar things and phenomena, create their own objects and logic problems, and turn the digital space into a place for virtual fights and entire tournaments. In the new academic year, 18 laboratories for physics, mathematics, chemistry, drawing and other subjects will be added to the MES library.
The MESh library is one of the key services of the Moscow Electronic School project, developed by the Moscow Department of Education and Science together with the city Department of Information Technology… Now the library contains over two million electronic materials, including more than 50 thousand lesson scenarios and over 10 thousand video lessons, more than 1,700 thousand electronic teaching aids, 348 textbooks, more than 140 thousand educational interactive applications, 245 works of fiction, as well as unique virtual laboratories and a huge number of test items corresponding to the content of the OGE and USE (to prepare for exams and olympiads).
You can learn more about all virtual laboratories of the MES library here…
