Shipilovsky registry office opened on September 7, 2016, on the eve of the City Day. It became the first in the last 30 years the registry office of the city, for which a separate building was specially designed and built. The institution is located near the museum-reserve “Tsaritsyno”, beloved among newlyweds and wedding photographers.
Until 2019, Shipilovsky was one of two departments in which marriages with foreigners were registered. For five years, it has concluded more than 3.5 thousand marriages with citizens of other states. With the direct participation of newlyweds from far abroad, a unique collection has been assembled that tells about the wedding traditions of different peoples of the world. The museum of wedding paraphernalia presents souvenirs from 22 states.
Employees of the Shipilovsky Department of the Civil Registry Office also conduct visiting ceremonies in the historical halls of the Grand Palace of the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve. Since 2017, more than 850 such celebrations have taken place.
With the start of the project “New addresses of happiness”The Shipilovsky registry office took part in all pilot programs: marriage registrations took place at the Museum of Contemporary History of Russia, the Historical Museum of Moscow, the Dream Island amusement park, the Zaryadye Park (in the ice cave and florarium), as well as at the opening of the renovated Northern River Station …
Various projects are being implemented at the site of the Shipilovsky Civil Registry Office. The first joint project of the Civil Registry Office and the Moscow Service for Psychological Assistance to the Population was the School of Happy Family Life. In the Shipilovsky department, open days were held, during which psychologists held consultations on matters of marital relations and communication with children.
Also, the Shipilovsky Department of the Civil Registry Office actively cooperates with the Moscow Longevity project.
“The project participants not only get to know each other, spend leisure time together, acquire new skills and even professions, but also come to our registry office to create a new family. At one of the registrations of the wedding of project participants Galina Tabolich and Valery Pashinin in 2019 on the eve of the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity in the Shipilovsky registry office, the international agency Interrecord recorded a new project record – “The most massive wedding dance flash mob of 55+ participants in a veil ”. And on the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity in 2021, together with Moscow Longevity, the Shipilovsky Department of the Civil Registry Office held a ceremony simultaneously honoring 11 couples of anniversaries of married life, “said Svetlana Zharova, head of the Shipilovsky Department of the Civil Registry Office.
Every year the department, together with the staff of the Family and Child Support Center “Planet of the Family”, organizes events for children, New Year trees and themed holidays. Concerts and master classes on creating postcards and decorative napkins are held on the site. In addition, face painting is done for babies.
Together with the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Southern District, the department organizes solemn meetings of the anniversaries of married life. On Mother’s Day and Children’s Day, the naming ceremony for newborns is held in the registry office.
Employees of the Shipilovsky Department of the Civil Registry Office regularly take part in professional skill competitions and win prizes. In the city competition “Moscow Masters” in 2017, Tatyana Pokamestova won first place, in 2018 Natalia Samotes took fourth place. In 2019, Larisa Davydyuk was in second place. In the competition “The best presenter of the wedding ceremony among young specialists of the Moscow Civil Registry Office” employee of the department Evgenia Kubaeva was recognized as the best. Svetlana Zharova, Head of the Shipilovsky Department of the Civil Registry Office, became the absolute winner of the “Manager of the Year – 2017” competition.
The department staff met with colleagues from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus and St. Petersburg to exchange experience. They are also actively involved in trade union sports life: competitions in curling, shooting, bowling, crossbow shooting.
