The network of NGO coworking centers has launched a series of podcasts dedicated to the work of non-profit organizations that help those in need, care for people with disabilities, and are also engaged in sports, leisure, ecology and others. The winners of the competition “The City of the Concerned. Calling ”- heads and employees of non-profit organizations, well-known philanthropists, representatives of business and government.

In the first episode of the podcast “Youth: Stereotypes, Love and Street Culture,” listeners learn about NGOs that introduce residents to art, develop volunteering and help young Muscovites take their first steps in the profession. And the invited expert Ekaterina Dragunova, chairman of the Moscow Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy, will tell how the city supports youth initiatives.

The second issue is devoted to the prospects for the development of cultural leisure in the capital.

You can listen to podcasts on the social network “In contact with” and on other services, including Youtube.

In the next issues, citizens will be introduced to the work of volunteers searching for artifacts from the Great Patriotic War, human rights defenders, eco-activists and other people who create socially useful initiatives and make the city better. A total of nine podcasts are planned – they will be released every week on Mondays.

Podcasts about the work of nonprofits became part of the project “The city of those who are not indifferent. Vocation”… In May, a network of NGO coworking centers launched a photo contest of the same name. It was attended by people who have dedicated their lives to charity and work in non-profit organizations. They sent to the competition photographs dedicated to any of the nine areas of activity of non-profit organizations: “Ecology”, “Sport”, “Support of family values”, “Development of the urban environment”, “Patriotic education”, “Cultural and leisure education”, ” Helping people with disabilities ”,“ Working with youth ”,“ Healthy and active lifestyle ”.

In total, more than 200 works were received from 81 non-profit organizations. According to the voting results, 18 best photos were selected. The works of the winners, along with portraits of the leaders of NGOs, were presented at a photo exhibition. You can get acquainted with the exposition from August to October in the parks “Angarskie Prudy”, “Tagansky”, “Sokolniki”, the garden “Hermitage”, the ethnographic village “Bibirevo”, Lianozovsky Park, shopping centers “Mega Belaya Dacha” and “Mega Teply Stan” … At each exhibit, visitors will find a QR code with a link to the podcast page.
