At the Ashuluk training ground in the Astrakhan region, crews of an anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Leningrad Air Defense Association of the Western Military District (ZVO) conducted combat launches of S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft guided missiles against air targets.

As part of the tactical exercise with live firing, units of an anti-aircraft missile regiment made a march from the Leningrad Region over 2 thousand km long and took up combat duty for air defense in the new positional area.

The combat crews of anti-aircraft missile divisions and the command post of the S-400 Triumph system have worked out the tasks of repelling a massive missile air strike. During the watch, target missiles simulating modern and promising air attack means of a conventional enemy were successfully detected and hit.

In addition, the servicemen passed tests in technical, tactical, and missile and rifle training.
