The current leadership of the republic is at a decent level and is successfully working on the development of the Chechen Republic, improving the quality of life of citizens, the Deputy Prime Minister continued. “There is still a lot of work ahead, and a lot needs to be done. We have to work on further comprehensive socio-economic development of the region. I wish further prosperity to the Chechen land, ”added Alexander Novak.
The supply of natural gas to the population is an important component of work to improve the quality of life in the region, Alexander Novak noted during a meeting on gasification with the head of the republic Ramzan Kadyrov. During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister discussed with the head of the republic the current process of pre-gasification of the population.
“In pursuance of the list of instructions following the results of the Address of the President of the Russian Federation to the Federal Assembly, the pre-gasification of settlements must be carried out in 2021–2022. At the same time, the burden from the population on the supply of gas pipelines is removed. Today we are working within the framework of the federal headquarters, a regional headquarters for gasification has been created in the region, ”the Deputy Prime Minister said.
To date, 163 special collection points have been created in the region for the prompt acceptance of citizens’ applications for gasification, in addition, the formation of an object-by-object schedule for the pre-gasification of households in gasified settlements in the context of 2021 and 2022 has been completed. According to the results of the inventory, more than 20 thousand households in need of gasification were identified.
In addition, Alexander Novak considered general issues of the socio-economic development of the region during a meeting with the head of the republic Ramzan Kadyrov. As the Deputy Prime Minister recalled, a new economic model of development had been developed for the republic earlier.
“On the part of the Government, we will pay attention, provide support to the region, which sets ambitious goals for social and economic development for itself. I assess the prospects for the development of Chechnya as very positive – not only promising, but also actual development. We see that a very serious program is being implemented, large investment projects, new power facilities are being built, ”the Deputy Prime Minister said. As a result of the meeting, it was decided to transfer 9 different promising projects to the Government of Russia for support.
“We discussed many projects of new facilities, agreed to take 9 new projects into consideration in order to provide support at the federal level. They will provide new jobs, a source of growth for the Republic and an overall improvement in the quality of life, ”the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
