A division of the coastal anti-ship missile system (BKRK) “Ball” from the missile formation of the Troops and Forces in the North-East of Russia was raised on alert as part of a tactical exercise that started in Kamchatka.

Combat crews are involved in tactical exercises in accordance with the fleet combat training plan.

Calculations of missile systems make a march on standard equipment from the point of permanent deployment to the positional area to work out training tasks for the use of missile weapons for their intended purpose.

In the course of the march, the personnel of the BKRK “Ball” is working out the algorithm of actions for organizing marching security, conducting air defense and forcing conventionally infected areas of the terrain as a result of “enemy” exposure to toxic substances.

Upon arrival in the designated area, the combat crews of the Bal battalion will deploy to positions on the Pacific coast and conduct training in search and destruction of conventional targets without the actual use of missiles by means of electronic launches.

Also, the personnel will work out other tasks in accordance with the concept of the tactical exercise.

More than 100 servicemen and more than 20 units of military and special equipment were involved in combat training activities.
