The bus station was opened just over a year ago. More than a hundred flights depart from here daily.
Since its opening, a little over a year ago, the Salaryevo bus station has received more than 800 thousand people. Told about it Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Head Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development.
The deputy mayor added that more than 100 flights depart from here every day. Most often, passengers go to Voronezh, Astrakhan, Volgodonsk, Saratov, Bryansk, as well as to the Belarusian cities of Vitebsk, Gomel and Minsk. Trips are organized by different carriers.
The bus station is part of the largest in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas “Salaryevo” transport hub and serves the routes of the closed bus stations. It is designed for 250 intercity and suburban flights daily.
The bus station building has ticket offices, a spacious waiting room, rooms for mothers and children, a food court and vending machines. Buses serve 15 platforms and two parking areas. The bus station is connected to the metro by a covered passage, which is especially convenient in frosty or hot weather.
The Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development is subordinate to four bus stations (Salaryevo, Central, North Gate, South Gate) and two bus stations (“Varshavskaya” and “Orekhovo”).
