Actual topics and new trends in social policy, medicine and education will be discussed at the IV Forum of Social Innovations of the Regions. Famous scientists, futurists, politicians, leaders of cities and regions, social entrepreneurs and public figures will talk about this. The forum, organized by the Federation Council of the Russian Federation and the Moscow Government, will be held in the capital from 9 to 11 September.

Among the key issues are the health of society and the individual, rebooting the education system, targeted social policy aimed at increasing incomes and the quality of life of citizens, digitalizing the economy, developing rural areas and improving social infrastructure, training in-demand specialists, relieving stress in a big city, as well as happiness of the townspeople.

The plenary session of the forum will be attended by heads of major cities, heads of Russian regions and experts from various fields, including Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev, expert in the economy of the future Parag Khanna and others.

Three strategic sessions of the Federation Council with the participation of ministers of the federal and regional levels, governors and other regional leaders, public figures, doctors and experts will devote to the problems of the world after the pandemic caused by coronavirus infection, global challenges and development prospects. They will discuss proactive social policies and new opportunities for everyone, as well as innovation in the service of the nation’s health.

It is important for economic growth to have a developed and high-tech infrastructure. One of the key principles of investment in this area is taking into account social needs. How the state and business can jointly solve the problems of road construction and transport development, modernization of housing and communal services and improvement of the urban environment – they will find out during the expert session “Social aspects in infrastructure projects. How to ensure a balance of interests? “

What are the prospects for the digitalization of migration processes, how do IT technologies affect the selection of personnel, what should be the personnel policy of the region in order to attract investments? These and other issues, as well as advanced technologies and approaches, will be discussed during the session at the plenary interview “Labor market: new challenges and opportunities”.

The topic of active longevity now sounds especially relevant. In the next 20 years, the number of senior citizens in Russia will increase by 10 million. How to live longer and stay healthy will be discussed at an expert session with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation, the Moscow Government and regional social state and non-state structures.

A total of 50 events are planned: 34 discussions, nine strategic and expert sessions, five open lectures and two plenary sessions. Forum guests will learn what to expect from innovations in medicine, infrastructure, agriculture, education, nutrition and sports.
