“The project provides for the reconstruction and phased commissioning of four buildings of the Institute of Experimental Cardiology, numbered 2, 6, 7, 8. The renovated buildings will be equipped with the latest equipment to provide patients with high-tech care. In addition, conditions will be created here for teaching new technologies and conducting research in the field of cardiology, ”said the head of the department.
In the buildings of the institute, doors and balconies, stained-glass windows, windows and elevators will be replaced, staircases will be repaired, rooms and walls will be finished. At the same time, the composition of the facades and interiors will remain unchanged. Special attention will be paid to fire safety.
The renovated institute will be able to develop and produce innovative drugs and diagnostic test systems that are used to treat cardiovascular diseases.
In April, the National Medical Research Center for Cardiology received permission to reconstruct building 9b, which houses the cardiac intensive care ward. It is located at: 3rd Cherepkovskaya street, 15a, building 4.
An increase in areas is envisaged. Upon completion of the work, a 30-bed therapeutic inpatient department will be located on the ground floor.
