Resettlement under the renovation program is being carried out in eight districts of the district.

In the south of Moscow, 17 houses are being built for the relocation of Muscovites under the renovation program. This was announced by the head Moscow Construction Department Rafik Zagrutdinov.

“17 residential buildings with an area of ​​230 thousand square meters are being built in the Southern Administrative District for resettlement under the renovation program. In addition, 15 more objects are in the design stage. Since the beginning of the implementation of the program, 10 houses have already been commissioned in the district, including five new buildings since the beginning of this year. It is planned to commission seven more residential buildings by the end of the year, ”he said.

Resettlement under the renovation program is being carried out in eight districts of the district.

“Now eight new residential buildings have been handed over for settlement in the Southern Administrative District. Of the 25 houses whose residents are moving under the renovation program, five will be reconstructed and adapted to modern needs. In addition, six buildings have already been resettled and two have been dismantled, ”said the head Department of Urban Development Policy Sergey Levkin.

According to him, in the south of the capital, new housing is planned to be provided to families from 378 houses, and in total, by 2024, as part of the first stage of the renovation program, 6,300 families should begin resettlement. Sergey Levkin added that currently more than 820 families have already celebrated housewarming, and another 315 are in the process of moving.

The renovation program was approved in the capital in 2017, it included 5175 houses. About a million people will receive new apartments. Now in different parts of the city build and design more than five million square meters of housing.
