“As part of the large-scale work that we are jointly carrying out to develop mass sports, create modern infrastructure for children and adults within the framework of the strategy adopted by the Government, health and fitness centers are opening in the most remote cities and villages of the country. A unified sports ecosystem is being created, in the center of which is a person. We continue to implement digital technologies in professional and amateur sports. The popularity of esports is growing exponentially in the world. In our country, there are already about 4 thousand professional athletes – this is the indicator of 2021. At the same time, the number of esports fans in Russia is several times greater and amounts to 15.4 million people, ”added Dmitry Chernyshenko.
