From 10 to 19 September, the capital will host the action “In good hands”. On Tverskoy Boulevard, Muscovites will be able to meet dogs and cats that live in shelters and are in search of a home and loving owners. As noted Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, the event will bring together those who already have a pet and who are just planning to have one, townspeople and volunteers who are not indifferent to the problem of homeless animals.

“Such funds for helping animals as“ Ray ”,“ Paw of friendship ”,“ Dogs who love ”,“ Catgirls ”and others have joined the action. Specialists and volunteers will hold lectures for visitors on zoopsychology, raising and caring for pets, ”said Natalya Sergunina.

The lecture hall will be open to everyone from 15:00 to 19:00 on weekdays, from 12:00 to 19:00 on weekends.

For those who are just going to take a dog or cat, there is a special area where guests can chat or walk with the wards of the shelters. This can be done any day from 11:00 to 19:00.

You are invited to the action with your own pets. For example, the training ground will teach the basics of dog training. On weekdays, classes with a dog handler will be held from 15:00 to 19:00, on weekends – from 14:00 to 19:00. In the grooming area, pets will be given an express styling or a procedure for caring for their ears and claws. In addition, an obstacle course and other entertainments were prepared for the four-legged.

Also on the boulevard there will be a special car of the Moscow Veterinary Committee. This is a mini veterinary clinic on wheels, usually used for home veterinary services and emergency pet care. As part of the action, veterinarians will advise on the correct keeping and feeding of animals, conduct a clinical examination and do an ultrasound scan. Pet owners will also be able to bring their four-legged friends for a free rabies vaccination.

The action sites will be open daily from 11:00 to 19:00. Free admission. Those who wish will be able to purchase useful accessories, care products, treats and toys for their pet or animal from the shelter.

The charity service was created on in October 2020 by the Department of Information Technologies in cooperation with the Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy. Among the partners of the project are organizations that provide systematic targeted assistance to seriously ill children and adults, people with disabilities, poor people and those who find themselves in difficult life situations.
