Today the large anti-submarine ship “Severomorsk”, which arrived the day before, on September 7, as part of a detachment of ships and support vessels of the Northern Fleet in the port of Dudinka, was opened for visiting by the residents of Taimyr.

Naval sailors have prepared excursion programs.

At the helipad of the anti-submarine ship, a Ka-27 helicopter was exhibited for inspection by visitors. There are special places for photographing on the ship. Trained officers tell guests about the history of the ship, its main technical characteristics and combat capabilities.

Excursions on ships of the Northern Fleet are carried out in compliance with sanitary and anti-epidemiological measures aimed at excluding the introduction and spread of infectious diseases. Excursion groups are formed of up to 10 people; for all visitors to the ships, a mask mode and temperature measurement are required.

The large anti-submarine ship of the Northern Fleet will be available for visiting until 13 September. The stay of the Northern Fleet sailors on Taimyr is of great interest to local residents. Last year, during excursion programs on the ships of the Northern Fleet, more than 10.5 thousand residents of Taimyr visited Dudinka.
